A Standard Grant consists of funding provided to an applicant organization for general operating support or a specific program and/or services provided for a quantified and qualified community constituency.
Prior to submitting an application, the guidelines and criteria described should be carefully reviewed to determine whether your organization and project or program match the stated funding priorities of Hutton Foundation.

A nonprofit agency interested in applying for a grant must first contact Hutton Foundation staff to determine which field of interest best describes its overall mission. A nonprofit agency is eligible to apply once each year, and the deadlines for each field of interest are firm.
In addition to items required by the Common Grant Application Form, please provide your latest Form 990 and audited financials.
Please note, Hutton Foundation is limited to accepting 50 qualified applications per cycle on a first-come first-serve basis.

Funding requests must range from a minimum of $5,000 to a maximum of $30,000. Multi-year requests will not be accepted.

As of January 2008, Hutton Foundation will award a maximum of three (3) consecutive years for funding to a single nonprofit agency, at which time the agency must wait one year before requesting additional funding.

|
Open to all Santa Barbara County based agencies.
|
|
Grant recipients will be required to submit bi-annual progress reports. Reporting requirements are detailed in grant award contacts. Grantees failing to submit such reports may be disqualified from future funding cycles.

Hutton Foundation is a member of The Foundation Roundtable, an informal group of Santa Barbara area grant makers and therefore reserves the right to disclose and discuss application information with alternate funding sources.
